Colour TV Sets In Britain
(Special Crspat NZP.A.)
LONDON, May 9
Colour television sets, using either the 405-line system or continental 625 lines, are now available in Britain. They can also receive black and white transmissions.
The company producing the sets claims they are the simplest, most compact receivers made in Britain. The new sets will at first be aimed at commercial market rather than be offered for sale to the ordinary viewer.
They will be made only when an order is received and will not be stocked.
