"OLE BILL” AT ALDERSHOT TATTOO.—The original “Ole Bill” bus used in the Great War of 1914-18 photographed during a rehearsal for this year’s Aldershot Tattoo. The bus is loaded with “wounded” and has one of its war-time drivers, Mr G. J. Glynn, at the wheel. It is named after Bruce Bairnsfather's famous cartoon character. Old Bill (corrupted to “Ole Bill”).
