Baird Wins At Burneyville
(N Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) BURNEYVILLE (Oklahoma), May 7. B. Baird, the 24-year-old professional won the Waco Turner open golf tournament in Burneyville today with a 72-hole total of 281. P. Thomson (Australia) had rounds of 74 and 72 to finish with 288 for eighth place. Baird took 2800 dollars as first prize money and he also won 530 dollars under the tournament’s bonus system used in this tournament.
