Cardigan Bay Put Aside

Cardigan Bay, a winner at his last three starts, has been put aside until next season.

A four-year-old gelding by Hal Tryax from Colwyn Bay. Cardigan Bay is owned by Mr A. Todd and trained at Mataura by D. Todd. He was beaten only once—into second —from four starts this season.

Cardigan Bay won the Renown Handicap at Forbury Park last Saturday week. During the season he also won at Roxburgh and Wyndham. and earned a total of £lO4O ss.
