16 For French Rugby Tour

WELLINGTON. May 8. The French Rugby team to tour New Zealand will be announced either on Sunday. May 28, or the following day. according to advice received by the New Zealand Rugby Union unofficially.

The union has also been advised of 16 players who are considered certainties to make the tour, apart from accidents. They include two who have already played against New Zealand in 1954 Andre Boniface, centre, and Roger Martine, a fiveeighths. The French team will arrive at Wellington on the evening of Sunday, July 2. and will leave almost immediately for Nelson, where the first match will be played on Saturday.
