Canterbury To Be Represented
The Riccarton-trained Gay Tominy. an acceptor folk the Tai Timi Kara Handicap at the Otaki meeting at Trentham on Saturday, will be taken north by D. M Kerr on Thursday. W. Beck will ride Gay Tommy, which will be one of two South Island representatives in the . race. The other will be Compensate. which will probably, be ridden by A. Cowan. Compensate and Napoleon Bonaparte are also booked to travel north on Thursday. Napoleon Bonaparte, the hurdles winner at Amberley on Saturday, will revert to 'chasing on Saturday. He is second top-weight with 10-3 and will also be ridden by Cowan.
