Motorists Ignore Warning Lights

Warning lights at the scene of a collision on the Main highway near the Tinwald railway station on Friday evening were ignored by many passing motorists, making it hazardous for police attending the accident. About 7 p.m. a motor-car was involved In a head-on collision with a furniture removal van. The driver of the car, David James McCusker, of Tinwald. suffering minor injuries. The driver of the truck escaped injury. Extensive damage was done to the car. and both vehicles ended up in the middle of the road, making it hazardous for the police. Warning lights were placed on either side of the vehicles but these were ignored by many motorists.
