Salvaged Petrol To Be Destroyed

(N.Z. Press Association) NAPIER, May 3. Thirteen thousand gallons of petrol will be set on fire on the Napier Harbour Board's Ahuriri farm, Napier, probably on the afternoon of May 10. The petrol is that salvaged from the spillage at Ahuriri terminal on March 9. The petrol is to be destroyed because it became contaminated and does not conform to the specification for motor fuel.
