Graduands’ Dinner.— Floral sprays were presented to 49 women graduates of the University of Canterbury at an informal buffet dinner party given for them by the Federation of University Women. During the evening the president, Miss N. Northcroft, spoke on the aims of the federation and welcomed the guests. Among those specially invited to be present was the Mayoress of Christchurch (Mrs G. Manning). The organising committee included Miss A Harris and Miss A. B. Ryan.
