COMMERCIAL Prices Steady On Active Share Market
In trading throughout New Zealand yesterday, only 21 price movements were recorded —10 up and 11 down. Markets were again active, and price movements were mainly small. N.Z. Refrigerating were again firmer in Auckland and Dunedin business and 39s 3d—their highest price for several months. Lane, Walker, Rudkin B and Early Bros, were other shares of particular Christchurch interest which finned. Dominion Breweries, N.Z. Insurance and South British Insurance shares eased. Kaiapoi Woollens, in first local business for two weeks, were 6d down. Ampol and Woolworths were firmer and Bowling Centres contributing and Waltons were weaker.
