MINOR FIRES

A fire in a motor-cycle at the intersection of Manchester and Dundas streets shortly before noon yesterday was extinguished by one unit from the Central station. There was slight damage to the wiring of the machine, which is owned by Mr Bruce Brooks, of 164 Aorangi road.

An oven fire at 36 Trafford street. Harewood, a property owned by Mr William Hew. inson, was extinguished without damage by one unit from the St. Albans station after a call had been received at 6.24 p.m.
