IN Z.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) (Rec. 1.30 a.m.) CAPE CANAVERAL, May 2 America's first manned space shot was postponed for 48 hours early this morning because of bad weather. The shot was due within a matter of minutes when the announcement of the postponement was made. Commander Alan B Shenard only a short while before had been officially named by Project Mercury officials as the chosen astronaut.
