Compensate To Go North
Compensate will be taken north next Thursday by his Orari trainer, P. H C Stock The Balloch gelding will race at the Otaki Racing Club’s meeting at Trentbam on Saturday week Compensate won the Nelson Cup at bis last start and was successful two starts earlier in the Templeton Handicap at Rieearton He was entered tor the Golden Mile, first leg of the double at Te Rapa on Saturday, but did not accept. The Waikato Racing Club’s handicapper assessed Compensate at top-weight of 9-4.
