SHOOTING IN AUSTRALIA

Invitation To New Zealand (N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SYDNEY, May 1. Officials of the Australian National Rifle Association have sent an invitation to the New Zealand Rifle Association to enter an official team, for this year’s EA6OOO New South Wales Queen’s Shoot. Last year, 16 New Zealanders competed in the New South Wales Queen’s Shoot.

The association will rearrange its programme this year to have the leading 30 shooters on the last day, fire shoulder-to-shoulder off a selected mound. This will mean that contestants with a winning chance will be assembled together to give officials and the public a chance to follow the final stages of the competition. The shoot will take place on the Anzac range, near Sydney, in October.
