AUCKLAND, April 27. There has been rain but .not sufficient to more than case the ground a trifle for the Avondaie Jockey Club’s autumn meeting on Saturday. The off-course double will be the Foley Memorial Handicap and the Mount Eden Handicap. Unless there is further rain Gauntlet will miss the Foley Memorial. Tamil and Dusky Oman are doubtful starters in the Mount Eden Handicap, which Relight is expected to contest in preference to the Mount Roskill Handicap. Riding engagements include: B. F.
