HOUR OF CRISIS IN PARIS.—President de Gaulle and General Andre Nemetz, Military Governor of Paris, in the gardens of the Elysee Palace last Saturday. Earlier that day, the President had sent his personal representative to Algeria to seek cognisance of the military revolt, and later he declared a state of emergency throughout France. The revolt, which was led by four retired generals, collapsed after less than four days.
