U.S. Meat Company Gets U.K. Interest

International Packers, of Chicago, announced today that they had taken a SO per cent, interest in City Meat Wholesalers, Ltd., of London, a subsidiary of the Smithfield Znimal Products Company. A statement said that the primary objective of City Meat Wholesalers would be to gradually establish a national organisation for handling, processing and marketing home-killed meat, with consequent benefits to British producers and retailers.
