Forecast:— Marlborough Sounds.—North-westerly winds, becoming strong in exposed places, otherwise moderate; partly cloudy, with moderate temperatures. Outlook: scattered light rain. Marlborough, except the Sounds, and Nelson.— Moderate winds, north-easterlies predominating; partly cloudy with mild day temperatures. Outlooksome scattered rain. West Coast.—Moderate northerly winds predominating; overcast, with rain spreading from the south. Outlook: rain. Canterbury.—Moderate winds, north-easterlies in coastal places and north-westerlies inland; partly cloudy with rather warm temperatures, especially in inland areas. Outlook: cloudy.
