The director of the Erlangen Forensic Medicine Institute (Professor Erich Weinig> today described as “downright rubbish” reports that last Tuesday’s Czech airliner crash was caused by shooting or sabotage. All 52 passengers and crew were killed when the aircraft crashed near NurembergEarlier it was reported that scientists were checking evidence that there may have been shooting or an explosion on the aircraft before it hit the ground.
