VANDALISM WITH SUGAR
Cabaret Dance Delayed The work of vandals held up a Christchurch dance for an hour on Saturday evening. Sugar had been spread over the dance floor of the Riviera Cabaret, and water poured over it Musicians, kitchen staff, stewards, doormen, and sym- > pathetic patrons cleaned the ’ mess before the dance started —at 10 p.m. Police think the vandals forced their way into the building—the Union Rowing Club building in Oxford terrace—through a window on the ground boat storage shed and from there into the upstairs ballroom The cabaret sign outside was smashed. Police are investigating. SINUS CONGESTION Citraflavin Tablets are a proven Decongestent. Their vaseconstrictor and mucus liquefacient actions promote drainage of clogged sinus cavities. Enjoy restful sleep at night. W. E. Woods (Aust.), IXd. Wellington. —Advt.
