MULTI-LISTING BUREAU
Property Sales In February February was a near record month for the sale of houses in and around Christchurch, according to the Multiple Listing Bureau of Christchurch in its latest bulletin. During the month the bureau had 113 listings and there were 51 sales—4s per cent of the listings. Sales in February were worth £177,200, taking sales to the end of the month to £1,545,727 for the 11 months of the financial year. Sales during the same period last year totalled £1.134,371. Listings for the year so far are 1053 against 912 last yiar. Sales to date this year are 493—46 per cent of listings—against 370 last year.
