( N.Z.P.A .-Reuter—Copyright) MELBOURNE. April 2. The New Zealand-bred gelding Aly Khan won the Kingswood Handicap in a, photo finish at Flemington yesterday. Samson was second and Elated half a head away, third. Mr and Mrs F. Brown, of Wangaratta. bought Aly Khan in New Zealand and he won for them the day after he was sold. Aly Khan has now won at Caulfield. Moonee Valley, and Flemington. Fuss, a 20 to 1 chance, caused an outburst after he won the £2500 Victoria Handicap by a neck from Unquenchable. The New Zealand-bred Ivory atoned for her unlucky defeat at Moonee Valley last week by easily winning the Acorn j Stakes over seven furlongs yesterday. Ivory had little trouble in defeating Girletta (7 to 2) by one length and a half, with Lady Sailor (8 to 1) a neck away, third.
