Indoor Basketball Australians Beat Whangarei, 77-3

(N.Z Prees Association) WHANGAREI, April 2. The South Australian indoor basketball team opened its New Zealand tour at Whangarei on Saturday nigh-, with a 77-3 victory over the Whangarei team. Led by L. Hody. who is 6ft 4in. the Australians were perfect in passing, ball control and shooting. A Malayan. M. Ahmatt. who is 18. was top scorer. He netted 17 goals for South Australia, and was applauded for his brilliant work around the basket area. He is 6ft lin. J. Gurneys scored 12 and T. Tilikjs shot 10 for South Australia.
