PEDESTRIAN KILLED
Struck By Car A man died in the Christchurch Hospital last evening from injuries suffered when he was struck by a car on the corner of Hood street and Oram avenue. New Brighton, about 7.15 p.m. He was unconscious when he was taken to the hospital, and died about four hours later.
Early this morning the victim had not been identified. The driver of the car was Mr John Hubert, Waihopai Valley, Blenheim.
