Manapouri
Sir.—lt is good a see a letter today from Mr Lush on the contemplated crime of raising the level of Lake Manapouri. Those islands in the lake are such an important part of the scenery as well as being so important from the point of flora and fauna. May the lake never be raised.—Yours, etc., A. C. MACINTYRE. March 29, 1961.
