About 280.000 Jersey bull calves have been registered. The association claims So having made a meteoric rise in popularity as the breed has developed. In 1910 only 370 heifer calves were registered and since 1950 there has been a sharp increase: from 19,100 to the 500.000 th registration this year of Drofnas Select Lottie, bred and owned by Sanford Bros., Tuskau.
