Tadpole May Win ••The Press** Special Service INVERCARGILL. March 31. Final trials at Riverton during the week have confirmed for the best part the positions of the early favourites for the main events—Uavelston in the Riverton Cup, Tadpole in the Great Western, and Feleka in the Aparima Handicap at the opening of the Riverton Racing Club's annual Easter carnival tomorrow. After almost a month of patchy weather which has contributed a mixture of wind, rain and gales, the weather cleared today, and the indications are that it will remain fine for the Easter period—as is usually the case at Riverton. The track has dried out and will provide first-class footing with the sting out of it. The double will be on the Aparima Handicap and the Riverton Cup.
