Design Officers Elected
The following officers were elected at a meeting of the Design Association of New Zealand: Patron, Sir Francis Adams; president, Mr Paul Pascoe: vice-presidents. Professor H. J. Simpson and Mr T. J. Taylor; secretary. Mr R. D. Lascelles; treasurer, Mr P. A. T Thomas; executive, Messrs P J. Beaven, L. V. Benseman, E. J. Doudney, A, Hearn, H. Henning-Mansen. R. D. Lascelles. R. S. Lindsay, G. W. Lucking, F. A. Shuiroek, P- A. T. Thomas and F. M. Warren. Mr P. Pascoe was congratulated by members on being awarded the gold medal of the New Zealand Institute of Architects for 1960 for his Christchurch Airnort terminal building. Mr Simpson was congratulated on his recent appointment as professor of flne arts at the University of Canterbury.
