Armed Farmers End Raids

I The missing killer dogone of two responsible for the death of 49 sheep on two farms near Ashburton this week—was shot by a party of farmers on Mr B. D Hood's property at Gtreenstreet on Thursday morning rhe other dog returned to its owner on Wednesday evening. Pie dogs got away from their owner in the Ashburton riverbed on Sunday On Tuesday. P Watson of Tinwald found six sheen dead, and 23 were so badly mutilated that they had tn be destroyed He found another three sheep dead on Thursday Seventeen sheep died on Mr Hoods property after a by dogs. Others are badly injured and may not survive.
