HAREWOOD SHOW

City Council’s Plans “Tentative, plans to hold an air show at Harewood in 1962 have been approved by the Christchurch City Council, and since then they have been forwarded to the Civil Aviation Administration for their approval,” said the manager of Christchurch international airport (Mr A. 1 R. Jamieson) last evening. "When the administration has approved of the plans then the City Council will proceed with a world-wide publicity campaign to such organisations as the S.BA.C. in order to make Christchurch a successful venue for the Pacific air exposition of the type we envisage,” said Mr Jamieson.
