SWABBING CASES

Hearings Now Delayed

The hearing of charges resulting from positive swabs taken from Indian Smoke, a winner at Tauranga on January 30, and Oleda Girl, a winner at Auckland in Feb ruary, will be delayed.

This was announced at a meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Trotting Conference by the president (Mr C. S. Thomas). No date had been set for the hearings, said Mr Thomas, as the conference analyst (Mr L. F. Addis-Smith) was at present in hospital as a result of a motor accident.
