W.S. Acquires Motor Firm (From Our Own Reporter > NELSON, March 27. The chairman of directors of Wright, Stephenson, Ltd., Mr C. U. Plimmer, today announced the acquisition of Central Motors, Ltd., Nelson, by Wright, Stephenson. Central Motors have the General Motors agency, which is operated by Wright. Stephenson in Wellington and Otago. Wright, Stephenson recently acquired the Nelson firm of Buxtons, Ltd. Both firms would carry on with their present staffs and trade under their separate identities, Mr Plimmer said. In due course stock and land activities would also be handled from Buxtons, Ltd., he added.
