Venom Wins Easily (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) BRISBANE, March 26. The Queensland 18-footer, Venom, skippered by ,24-year-old Bob Miller, easily won the fifth and final heat of the world championship on Brisbane river today to take the title. It was Queensland's second world title success, the first being in 1956. Venom won the heat by 6min 37sec from the Australian champion, The Fox (V. Robinson), with Jantzen Girl (X,. Heffernan) Imin Bsec farther astern in third place. Final points of the leaders in the series were: Venom 400. Jantzen Girl 297, MG 111 (Queensland) 238. Toogara (New South Wales) 212, The Fox 211, Vindicator (J. Lidgard. New Zealand) 136.

Vindicator was the early leader in today’s final heat, but V6nom and Jantzen Girl soon headed the fleet.
