Golf NEW CIRCUIT TO INCLUDE N.Z.

Plan Of U.S. Body, Sydney Firms (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. March 27. The United States Professional Golf Association and two Sydney firms plan to promote a golf circuit of NewZealand, Australia and the Far East. Tournaments are planned in Hawaii, Japan. Hong Kong, Manila, Singapore. Sydney, Melbourne and New Zealand. The New Zealand Professional Golf Association's secretary (Mr Noel Hayden) said in Auckland today the plan could be “a wonderful thing.” If the circulit was timed to link up with New Zealand’s bigger tournaments near the end of the season it would give other sponsors the opportunity of organising the additional meetings. Mr Hayden said the most important angle would be the possibility of arranging constructive clinics. particularly on improved or simplified coaching methods adopted overseas.
