f WF J .-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON. March 25 The world motor racing champion. Jack Brabham, today won the 100-mile international trophy race at Snetterton. Norfolk, with a lead of more than two miles. Brabham took over the lead in the fourteenth lap in his Cooper-Climax from Innes Ireland* (Lotus), who retired after gear-box failure. C. Allison was second in a Lotus and John Surtees third in a Cooper. The “Evening Standard" said the race, for the Lombank Trophy, represented the greatest line-up of cars and drivers ever assembled on the Norfolk circuit. The race was won last year by Innes Ireland in a team Lotus.
