Winner Of 14 Races (N.Z. Press Association) N. PLYMOUTH, Mar. 21. Anacapri, one of the best staying mares ever to represent Taranaki, has run her last race. She will go to stud after a career spanning seven racing seasons and netting more than £ll.OOO in stakes for her Brixton owner, Mr E. W. Hopson. In her 117 starts Anacapri has won 14 times, beaten most of the top class handicap horses in the land, and has been successful at distances from six furlongs to two miles.
