COMMERCIAL Sharemarket Prices In N.Z. Again, Ease

Share prices again drifted downward in business on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday. New Zealand Insurance, which sold last Wednesday at 65s in Christchurch and at 64s 9d in Auckland, sold in Auckland at 63s 6d. New Zealand Fanners’ Co-operative B preference, Felt and Textiles of Australia, Ampol (in Auckland), Cox Bros, (in Auckland), Myer Emporium, Reid Rubber, Transport Nelson and Woolworths (South Africa) also sold at lower prices. Reid Murray continued to recover, and sold locally at 7s 4d—a gain of Is Id from last week’s low point. Australian Consolidated Industries, Reid Murray and Wilson Cement (in Wellington) were also firmer. Hay’s rights maintained the higher price of 14s paid in Wellington on Monday. Monday’s lower prices for Clyde Industries and G. J. Coles in sales elsewhere were confirmed in Christchurch business.
