Subsidy Up, Prices Down -Reuter—Copyright) THE HAGUE, March 17. The subsidy on Dutch butter exported to Britain has been raised from about Is 4d to about Is Hd a kilogram (about, 2.21 b), retroactive from March 12, the Commodity Board for Dairy Produce announced today. Dutch butter exporters have consequently reduced their prices for Britain by 30s a cwt to £l3 3s to £l3 6s freight-on-board for casks, also with retroactive effect from March 12.
