CENTENNIAL SHOW
Film Suggested
The Tourist and Publicity Department would give serious consideration to the suggestion that a tourist film should be made of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s centennial show in 1962, said the general manager’of the department (Mr K. B. Longmore) at the South Island Publicity Association conference.
However, if a film was made it would possibly be not only for tourists. Such a film could also be used for part of the Colombo Plan and general series on the economy of New Zealand, he said.
