Alleged Intent To Rob
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. March 20. Leslie Ellis Ratana. aged 19, a workman, was remanded for a week at the request of the police when he appeared before Mr E. F. Rothwell, S.M., in the Auckland Magistrate’s Court today charged with assaulting an 81-year-old shopkeeper, Herbert Austin O’Gara, last Thursday with intent to rob.
