SCHOOL MILK SCHEME
Committees Vote For Retention (HI. Prut Association) WANGANUI, March 19. The annual conference of the New Zealand Federation of School Committees’ Associations on Saturday rejected by a substantial majority a remit that the milk-in-schools scheme be abolished and the money transferred to the education vote for primary school purposes, but it also passed a remit that the Health Department should carry out a thorough investigation of the scheme.
