A two-storeyed house at 222 Wilsons road, Opawa. offered on account of Mr H. C. Urlwin was passed in at £8750 when offered at auction yesterday. Bidding started at £7OOO. There were two bids of £5OO and three of £250. The house contains a billiards room, sunroom, draw-ing-room, bathroom, diningroom, dinette, laundry, t>wo-car garage and six bedrooms.
The section of 2 roods 19 perches surrourffling the house contains an asphalt tennis court and several sheds.
A six-roomed house at 31 Harvey terrace, Avonside, was passed in at £l6OO. Bidding started at £l4OO. There were two £lOO bids.
