Large Entries At West High School Sports

Weather was excellent for the Christchurch West High School sports at Rugby Park yesterday. There was a large number of entries. A rather heavy track affected the performances, which were only average. Undoubtedly the outstanding athlete was H. Sandle, who won seven events which gave her the girl’s junior championship by a margin of 27 points. She broke the high jump record by 2jin.
