SPANISH DANCERS

Luncheon At Farewell

A link of friendship between Spanish and New Zealand dancers was made when members of the Christchurch Dancing Teachers’ Association entertained the visiting Spanish company at a farewell luncheon. The guests were welcomed by the president of the association (Miss D. Sanders) who said how much members had enjoyed the Christchurch performances of the Spanish singers and dancers. Mr Luis Ramon replied with the assistance of an interpreter, Mrs Manuela Gordon. The luncheon concluded with the singing of Spanish and Maori songs. The accompanists were Mesdames G. Stott and M. Hamilton.
