Lyttelton Driver Injured

When the fully-loaded truck he was driving from the quarry to the harbour reclamation works rolled 70ft over a bank yesterday, Edward Foulkes, an employee of the Lyttelton Harbour Board, suffered head injuries. The accident occurred about 9.40 a.m. After he had been examined by Dr. P. Nankivell, Mr Foulkes was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital, and later admitted to Burwood Hospital. His condition last evening was satisfactory.
