(NJt. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 23. The National Roads Board spent £1.402.373 on motorways, £1.767.474 on rural State highways, and £195,187 on urban State highways—a total of £3.36s.o34—during the 10 months ended January 31. Figures presented to a meeting of the board showed that £130.051 was spent on new bridging on motorways and £195.343 on rural State highways During the period £2.209.327 was spent on general maintenance and £I6SJOS on rescaling.
