Pedestrian Hurt.— Head injuries were suffered by Mrs Jean Francis Vickery, of 369 Selwyn street, Spreydon, when she was struck by a car when walking across the road at the corner of Moorhouse avenue and Selwyn street about 2.15 p.m. on Saturday. She was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital. 1 Grass Fire.— At 12.59 pm., on Saturday, a unit from the' Woolston fire station was | called to a grass fire on the property of Mr Otto Hinterviesz, at 218 Hargoods street, Woolston. There was no damage.
