ANGOLA RIOTS

Attack On Prison LISBON, Feb. 12. A police net has been drawn round the Sao Paulo quarter of Luanda, Angola, where armed rioters, who attacked the prison on Friday night, are thought to be in hiding, the Lusitania News Agency reported. It quoted unconfirmed reports as saying that seven rioters died, 17 were injured, and 50 arrested after the attack—the third shooting inci dent in Luanda in a week.

The prison holds many rioters involved in the earlier incidents, Lusitania said. Seven members of the security forces were reported to have been killed in the clashes last week-end, but none were killed or injured in the attack on Friday night.
