200 Men Refuse .Work

(N.Z Press Association/ ROTORUA, Feb 10 Nearly 200 workers employed by the construction nrm of Waite-Tileman on work at the Wairakei geothermal power project did not re E? rt or work this morning. The men carpenters, labourers and riggers working on extensions to the powerhouse—did not report for work this morning, a companv spokesman said, because “they consider they have a dispute with us.”

The dispute would be handled by the firm's Auckland office. He was not prepared to go beyond that the spokesman said.

It is thought the dispute is concerned with travelling time.
