Plane Damaged With Axe

(N.Z.P.A.-Reu£er— Copyright) MELBOURNE. Jan. 30. A Cessna aircraft worth £6500 was attacked with an axe on thb airstrip at Phillip Island early today. Both sections of the plane’s divided windscreen were smashed. The damage was estimated at £l5O. A motor racing spectator saw the damage and reported it to the pilot, Mr R. Cavill Mr Cavill took passengers on scenic flights over Phillip Island yesterday. Last night the Cessna was tied down on the airstrip under guard.
